About Sha'oor

• WHO WE ARE ?

  Sha'oor-the society is a non-politicized student organization which came about in 2007 as a student society in Air University Islamabad. It is a humanitarian based society that aims to bring about academic, social, moral and ethical awareness primarily through lectures, literature, seminars, conferences and various events within the youth of Pakistan. The name “Sha’oor”; literal meaning awareness; has emerged through the befitting scenario of the human times, hence after much consideration the society was named it which works for the awareness of the humanity.

  We have made a remarkable reputation within a short span by critically understanding the momentous necessities of the needy and less privileged humanity. Owing to its live and promising manifesto Sha'oor has become a standout society that not only works for the on-campus betterment but also is very vigilant and prominent on out-off campus affairs.

  Now we have members registered from all institutes of Pakistan and can count on our international delegates who have pledged to help us in the humanitarian cause.

• WHAT WE DO ?

  We are a team of devoted and energetic youth from Pakistan who are committed to serve the country and thus the humanity by imparting true awareness and nursing the un-attended and less-privileged lives around us.

  Committed to excellence and uplift of society we tend to form a patriotic and philanthropic cream of youth which is not only capable of raising its voice for truth, human rights and peace but is also efficient to answer to the call of need at any time.

  Owing to the realization that youth is the backbone of nation, we strive to raise country's name by forming an educated and well trained society. Our hard-working team ensures a fruitful future for Sha’oor.

• PHILOSOPHY:-

  We believe that the only way to be saved form the torrents of disintegration of society is possible through unified, consolidated and organized youth.

  Owing to the realization that youth happens to be the backbone of nation, we strongly believe that character building of youth, attainment of knowledge and awareness can contribute in the uplift of nation- awareness that is based on rationalism and positivism

• OBJECTIVES:-

  Our objectives are:-

  • To create patriotic, responsible and awakened youth to serve the nation and thus the humanity
  • To enhance and consolidate the bonds of solidarity and fraternity among the youth of Pakistan
  • To ensure active participation of youth in social, moral and economic affairs as well as uplift of society
  • To revive cultural and ideological norms amongst the youth
  • By playing effective role in the society, to improve the image of Pakistan and thus the Muslims on globe
  • To cooperate and coordinate in humanitarian emergencies such as natural disasters
  • To form an integrated society
